Ove godine obilježavamo 30. godišnjicu genocida u Srebrenici. U znak sjećanja na žrtve i preživjele, okupljamo članove zajednice, lokalne lidere i sve ljude dobre volje kako bismo zajednički odali počast, podigli svijest i prikupili prijeko potrebna sredstva za ovu važnu misiju. Očekujemo prisustvo između 200 i 300 učesnika.
Nakon šetnje, planirane su sljedeće aktivnosti:
• Svjedočenja preživjelih
• Osvježenje za sve prisutne
• Dova koju će predvoditi Sedin ef. Šahman,glavni imam za Veliku Britaniju i Irsku.

Dear all, to commemorate & preserve the memory of the victims of the Genocide in Srebrenica, we’d like to inform you that the “Guildford Peace March” will be held again this year.
The Peace March is scheduled for 21/06/2025 in Guildford starting at 1 p.m.
In addition to the usual walk and honoring the innocent victims, this year we plan to expand the activities and try to improvise scenes so that those present can feel at least a small part of the suffering that our loved ones went through back in 1992-95.
During the walk, the survivors will deliver speeches, to evoke that unforgettable exodus even more strongly with authentic stories.
Plan on the day:
1. 1pm – meeting at Newland Coner, GU4 8SE, Drove Road.
(Free parking is provided for all those who come by car)
2. A light walk along the planned route lasting 1h30 minutes
3. History lesson
For the history lesson, we are planning to execute the same as last year, meaning everyone who wants to tell their war story, they can! DM or private message if you’d like to share your story, whether it is 3 minutes or 13 minutes – all are encouraged.
