London: With Deep Sorrow – Passing of Haris Kazazic

Dear all,

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the news of the sudden passing of our dear friend and board member, Haris Kazazic a long-standing President of the Bosnian Community in London, a devoted patriot, generous benefactor, and above all, a truly remarkable human being.

For decades, Haris stood beside the Bosnian Supplementary School London with quiet strength, unwavering commitment, and sincere love for our community. He was not a man who sought recognition or praise. Instead, he helped quietly, from the shadows, with humility, dignity, and a smile that brought warmth and reassurance to everyone around him. His kindness was genuine, effortless, and deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Haris was the kind of friend every community hopes for but rarely finds, always present when needed, always ready to support, encourage, and uplift others. He carried himself with gentleness and grace, treating people with respect, compassion, and sincerity. His generosity knew no limits, and his love for Bosnia and Herzegovina, its people, culture, and future generations, could be seen in everything he did.

Many generations of children and families connected to BH School London benefited from his support, guidance, and care. His contribution was never measured in words or visibility, but in the lasting impact he left on people’s lives and on the strength of our community itself. People like Haris are born rarely, yet their goodness shapes communities for generations.

We extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt condolences to his beloved family to his wife Sabina, who dedicated many years volunteering at Bosnian School London, and to their children, proud alumni of our school and cherished members of our community. Their kindness, warmth, and dedication reflect the very values Haris lived every single day.

His passing leaves behind a silence that is difficult to describe. It is hard to imagine our gatherings, celebrations, and community life without his presence, his smile, and his calm, supportive spirit. Yet even in this profound sadness, we know his legacy will continue to live on through his family, through the children and young people he supported, through the school he loved, and through every act of kindness inspired by his example.

We will remember Haris with immense respect, gratitude, and love, and his legacy will continue to live on through our children, our school, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Thank you, ‘Hare’, for your friendship, your kindness, your endless support, and your beautiful soul. You showed us that true goodness does not seek attention, it lives quietly, deeply, and sincerely in the hearts of good people.

‘May you be granted eternal peace, and may the Bosnian soil rest lightly upon you.’

Details of the commemoration will be shared at a later time.

Kind regards

IO BH Community London
